Violin & Viola Lessons
At Stewart Strings, we offer personalised violin and viola lessons for beginner and intermediate students in Brisbane, near Wynnum and the surrounding bayside suburbs.
Whether you are picking up an instrument for the first time or looking to develop your existing skills, lessons are tailored to each student’s age, experience, interests, and individual goals. Our aim is to create a supportive and enjoyable learning environment where students can build confidence, develop strong musical foundations, and discover a genuine love for music.
Lessons for Every Stage
Lessons are available in 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60-minute sessions, allowing you to choose a lesson length that suits your age, experience, and schedule.

The Colourstrings Method
For beginner students, we teach the Colourstrings method, a child-friendly approach to music education that develops instrumental technique alongside a strong understanding of musical concepts.
Colourstrings uses colour, imagery, movement, singing, and games to make learning music engaging and accessible. Students develop skills in listening, rhythm, pitch, music reading, and technique while building a strong musical foundation from the beginning.
Beginner Violin
